Noella first studied photographic printing techniques "in the kitchen on Grant Street where my grandmother taught my father and my father taught me." She later studied film and photography in school and thru her travels about the world.

Her photographic interests range from babies to the boudoir to the great outdoors, next door and across the sea. She is fascinated with trees, water, reflections, people, and family, whether they be human or other.

Noella has been recently published in the feature article and on the cover of New York's Next magazine; in the San Jose Rose Garden Resident; and on a variety of web sites including Play Bill.com, Talking Broadway.com and Broadwaystars.com. She has exhibited at the Gregory Kate Gallery, PST Fitness, Gateway Wellness Center, Morgan Hill Centenial Recreation Center, Limetree Coffee House, Crema Coffee Roasting Co. and Valley Acupuncture all in and around San Jose.

Current works can be seen at Villa Mira Monte in Morgan Hill, CA in the "Historical California" exhibit. Show ends at the end of August 2009.

Noella currently serves as the vice president of the Morgan Hill Photography Club, established in 2008 and has a 100+ members.

Noella teaches portrait photography, digital photo processing at Santa Clara Adult Ed, San Jose State University's Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and Gavilan College Community Education.
